The most important thing to keep in mind when you're starting out on far infrared therapy is to go slow. Your body needs time to get accustomed to the infrared therapy and once you start getting used to it you can gradually adjust the length of your session in accordance to what your body needs. We recommend starting with a 20 minute session and to increase it up to a 30 minute session per sitting. Listen to your body, it will guide you!

Far Infrared saunas are safe to use on a daily basis, but do keep it to once a day. Similar to an exercise regime, the more you use, the sooner you see the results. On average, most people partake in 20-30 minute sessions, 3-4 times a week. There is no specific time of day to use the sauna, you can use it anytime that suits your schedule.

With all the sweating, it’s important to come to each session well-hydrated and to rehydrate after. Proper hydration is a crucial component to sauna use.

One of the principal benefits of sauna use is the improvement in blood circulation. This can be counteracted if you consume a heavy meal beforehand, due to the blood being primarily concentrated in the digestive system. If eating a heavy meal beforehand cannot be avoided, you should wait at least 1-2 hours prior to your session. However, if you have the choice, choose a lighter meal that can be easily digested.

It is considered inadvisable to raise the core body temperature in someone with adrenal suppression and systemic lupus erythematosus or multiple sclerosis by some authorities.  If you have any one of the conditions stated above, please do not sit in the sauna.

Far Infrared Sauna use is also not recommended for someone  who is pregnant, children under 12, those with hemophilia  and those under the influence of alcohol.

For someone with metal pins, rods, artificial joints or any other surgical implants, implanted silicone or silicone prosthesis, heart pacemaker or heart related implants, it is advisable to consult with your physician prior to using  the FIR sauna.

Should you have any medical conditions, please consult your physician concerning it. Do not attempt to self-treat any disease without direct supervision from your physician.

The core body temperature of children rises much faster than adults, as such we would recommend that children below 12 not to use the sauna. However, should you feel inclined to let your child experience the benefits of FIR sauna, we recommend it is best you check with your pediatrician.

The infrared band in the spectrum of light is what we perceive as heat. It makes the body sweat at lower temperatures than the ones needed for regular convection heated saunas, so people tolerate it better.
Infrared saunas are also smaller and easier to install than regular saunas, and are more affordable.

All you need is a power socket and ample space to fit your choice of the cabin.  It is best installed indoors, in bedrooms or home-gyms. It can also be installed in the balconies as long as it's covered and protected from the elements and gives you enough privacy to enjoy your session.   It is however not recommended to place the unit where it is exposed to elements such as water or direct sunlight.

Almost zero maintenance. To keep the inside clean, you can periodically wipe the walls, floor or benches with a damp cloth. Do not use any form of cleansing agents as it might release toxic fumes in interaction with the heat
